Elon Musk's expected defence of a $2.2 billion (1.75 billion pounds) deal in court was postponed on Friday from its expected Monday start, due to the coronavirus outbreak. Tesla advertises for solar, energy storage staff in China
Tesla Inc has advertised for solar and energy storage project managers in China, as the U.S. electric vehicle maker moves to expand its energy business into the country. The two posts on the Tesla human resources department's official WeChat account mark the first time the California-based automaker has looked to hire for such roles in China. Tesla did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Sono Motors says it has raised $55.42 million for solar powered car
German solar-powered electric car startup Sono Motors said it had raised 50 million euros from a crowd-funding campaign to develop a solar-powered vehicle. Munich-based Sono has attracted engineers from Nissan , Opel and Honda to develop the Sion, an electric car clad in crystalline silicon cells, which give the vehicle up to 30 km (18.6 miles) of electric charge a day.
Tesla's new Solar Roof costs less than a new roof plus solar panels
Tesla has launched the third iteration of its solar roof tile for residential home use, which it officially detailed in a blog post on Friday and in a call with media. Tesla CEO Elon Musk kicked off the call with some explanatory remarks on the V3 Solar Roof, and then took a number of questions. The company says it'll begin installations in the coming weeks (Musk says some installations have already begun) and that it hopes to ramp production to as many as 1,000 new roofs per week.
Belgian solar car team wins 3,000-km race through Australian outback
A team from Belgium's KU Leuven University has won a 3,000-km (1,864-mile) race for solar-powered cars through the Australian outback, organisers said, as the cars arrived in the South Australian capital of Adelaide on Thursday. The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge is one of the world's most prestigious solar car races created to foster development of experimental, solar-powered vehicles by university students. "For the first time in the history of our solar team we are WORLD CHAMPIONS," the
