John Beltz Snyder has been the Senior Editor, Green, at Autoblog since 2017. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in English and a minor in Philosophy. John has been writing about cars since 2008, first at Winding Road and and later as a freelancer before joining the Autoblog staff. His first car was a 1994 Chevy Blazer, his most recent a 1974 Volkswagen Beetle.
